ket-hzard asked "SO LIKE I THINK THAT ELHOKAR IS DEFINITELY IN DEEP WITH THE HERALDS. Like, in one of the prologues he's seen talking with nin. Also, he's been seeing cryptics, which are heavily associated with lies and deception. I suspect that the weakened gemstones was also his fault (I think he used the larkin nin had to drain the gemstones), because who would fake two assassination attempts? Also, if he was trained to recognize surgebinders, that explains his about-face after the duel with kaladin"

HOLY SHIT

And he describes Kaladin’s heroism as a “pattern,” which is the same word Taravangian uses in the Diagram when he describes how to identify surgebinders by looking for the pattern of those who survive when they should have died.

Puttin’ up my doodles of the day before going downstairs for dinner (I can smell the french fries already, yum!).
Two Randus’ (one that I was mentioning having to go way back for and another from their second visit to Tuberville), a pink version of an Eladrin eye (or any other creature without pupils really), and a monster that really has nothing to do with anything other than when I don’t know what to draw I default to monsters and/or pokemon.

The most dangerous phrase in the language is, “we’ve always done it this way.”

"Come on, let’s mix it up!" The heart surgeon says.
"B-but we’ve always done it this way!" The other replies, "this is how you replace a heart valve."
"That’s the most dangerous phrase in the human language!" The first surgeon replies haughtily as he inputs a fruit loop into the patient’s heart. "This will be his valve. He will be a fruit loop in a world of Cheerios."

This is serious business, because this is a large part of how sexism, racism, homophobia, rape culture, ethnocentrism, etc. continue to happen.

That bullshit heart surgery example doesn’t even make sense though, does that person think that we’re still doing heart surgery the exact same way we’ve always done heart surgery? As if medicine isn’t constantly changing and updating? Wow it’s almost like people are finding excuses to not have to think critically about the world!

mine says a female, 18-24, interested in fashion and beauty, so most of my ads are from retailers who specialize in makeup and dresses - so it’s entirely accurate

Buzz Facts #2!
On September 9th, 2009, Buzz Aldrin was lured to a mansion in Beverley Hills, under the pretense of filming a TV show for Japanese children. However, when he arrived, they kidnapped him and told him to swear on the Bible that the moon landings were faked. He refused, and punched the man, Bart Sibrel, unconscious.
